Shadbush : Habitat and Range
Shadbush is an all-season beauty. Its scientific name is Amelanchier arbarea. The family of shadbush is Rosaceae. The range habitat of the shadbush is in the eastern half of the United States and Canada. It tends to grow in areas of sun or partial shade. The most beneficial soils for it to survive it that with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5, and without calcium carbonate. It is commonly found on slopes and in rocky forest, along the forest edges and along stream banks.
