Later Years: Promoting Republican Party Politics : CNB asks President Eisenhower to visit VT (1954, 1956)

CNB corresponded with President Dwight D. Eisenhower for over a decade. She campaigns for President Eisenhower and does everything she can to elect him to office in 1956. In return, CNB asks the President to visit Vermont in both 1954 and 1956, but he is unable to. President Eisenhower thanks CNB multiple times in his letters for her hard work and dedication to the Eisenhower Administration. While working to help President Eisenhower win the election, CNB also worked on the Republican National Committee, served as Lieutenant Governor of Vermont, and represented South Burlington in the Vermont House of Representitives.
