Personal and Professional Life : Letters between CNB and Henry Albon Bailey (1940)
During Consuelo Northrop Bailey’s life as a successful political and legal figure in Vermont, she made sure to contribute a lot of her love and attention towards her family life. Although she didn’t have any children, she was deeply committed to her husband, Henry Albon Bailey, whom was also a successful figure. CNB and Henry A. Bailey demonstrated their love for one another through their letters, marked February 18 and 19,1940. CNB’s letter to her husband displays how she, a distinctive woman in the early to mid 1900’s, could have a positive effect on her occupational life as well as family life. CNB was, and still is, a woman to look up to as she portrayed all the traits needed to have a positive life.
