CNB wrote in five-year diaries. This diary, which CNB kept from 1914 through 1918, provides insight into how she lived, worked, and most importantly, overcame adversity. Her entries mention everything from her chores to her school work. The scope of Consuelo Northrop Bailey’s life is not fully complete without this document.
