The Granite Monthly New Hampshire State Magazine Concord, N.H. Jan. 8, 1920 Dear Mrs. Keyes, I think your idea of writing a Washington letter is an excellent one. The Boston Herald has such a feature every Sunday-a letter, I mean, from a woman in Washington-but no other Boston paper has. Why don't you try the Transcript, (?) The (?) is the only paper in New Hampshire which has enough circulation to make such a feature worth while; and I (?) and that they are counting the pennies as closely as they rest of us these days. I know that your letters would be very readable and not of the ordinary.
That is a good suggestion you make in regard to Mr. E.J. O'Brian and I have placed his name in the mailing list. I ought to have thought of that myself.
Mrs. Connally and Mrs. Lothrip's were the only subscriptions that I could trace of the "Sequel." Mrs. Kellogg cancelled her's and Mr. Blair (?) has paid for his. I thought you might let me send the magazine to a couple of your friends in payment for the C. and L. subscriptions.
Yours as (?),
H.C. Pearson
