Description

The circular patterning in the pendant of this necklace is made from silver twisted wire, also called filigree, a jewelry-making technique common in India. Wire has long been used in jewelry throughout India as it is one of the most basic forms of metal available to the jeweler. In this delicate, time consuming style of metalwork, jewelry is made entirely from high-quality gold or silver wire.
