Mrs. Frances Parkinson Keyes,
1113 Chartres Street,
New Orleans, 16, Louisiana.

My dear Mrs. Keyes:
It is with much pride and pleasure that I am forwarding to you the photographs which you indicated might be of interest to you. They will arrive under separate cover.
One “snap” which was taken at the Comus Ball and shows the King of Comus leading my daughter Dolly Ann in the grand march after the kings and queens had interchanged, is the property of the Comus Organization. I have written Judge Janvier (who is on his holiday at Highlands, N.C.) asking sanction. He is to communicate with you directly. You should hear from him any day.
I the mean time, let me repat how very happy you have made the whole Souchon Family. Books like yours never die --- and so, Dolly Ann will live on with you:
Cordially, Edmund Souchon
