Dear Sir:
I have been greatly attracted by the reproduction of your photograph, “Pirate’s Alley,” which appeared in the June 26th issue of the TIMES PICAYUNE.
Will you kindly let me know whether you would care to have me submit a glossy print of this picture to my publishers for possible inclusion in a forthcoming book of mine, entitled ALL THIS IS LOUISIANA? I can give you no assurance that it would be selected, as my responsibility ends when I have given my publishers the opportunity to make a choice among several pictures, all of which I consider attractive. If it were chosen, you would be paid $5.00 for it and would have a good deal of favorable publicity.
Should you be willing to entrust it to me, under theses conditions, I will see that it receives every care and attention.
Being that this suggestion may be of interest to you, I am
Very sincerely yours,
Frances Parkinson Keyes
