Dear Mrs. Keyes:
Your telegram reached me too late in the afternoon for me to turn it over to the publisher, and since there barely was time for the books to reach Senora Ferrara, I got them myself and mailed them to her, special handling. The price of the Japan book was $5 and the Pacific Triangle, $4; and the postage was 75ยข.
It's awfully sweet of you to do this, and I hope the Senora will enjoy the books. I inscribed each of them as follows:
To Senora Orestes Ferrara
at the requrest of our friend
Mrs. Frances Parkinson Keyes
---
Sydney Greenbie
I noticed recently some reports of the silver conference, and also the appeal of Governor Theodore Roosevelt for aid of Porto Rican Children. See how your conversation lights of the news for us. We hope for the pleasure of seeing you soon again.
Cordially yours,
Sydney Greenbie
