John Keyes to Peter Keyes, Feb 18, 1933
Dublin Core
Title
John Keyes to Peter Keyes, Feb 18, 1933
Description
Writes of difficulty to find jobs and failure to have been accepted in to the foreign service. Suggests "family funds appear to be at the usual low ebb." John continues, "Under the circumstances it does seem rather queer that we should need four servants to take care of three people. If we could drop one of them it would pay for my further study and leave over some one hundred berries besides, that is if I understand Kate's salary alright, and that one hundred berries would do quite nicely for you and Henry. I have finally come to the conclusion that we have sufficient income to manage the necessary things quite easily, but when I mention this I am reminded of other matters."
