Description

This silver pendant is most-likely a ornament from present-day Croatia that may have been worn as jewelry or used to encase small items as it opens like a locket. A crown with a cross is located on the top half of the pendant and is believed to represent the Sacred Heart of Roman Catholic Religion. The heart represents an eternal devotion to Jesus Christ. The Initials “APD SkC’ are engraved on the front half, suggesting it was a personal item as well as a religious object.
