Dublin Core
Title
Zuni Bowl
Description
The bowl is made of clay and painted in shades of tan, brown and red. The top rim has 14 scallops painted brown.
On the designs inside, the rectangular center is painted brown, with red triangles on each side. Emanating from each corner of the rectangle are four shield-like shapes painted brown and red.
The outside design is a zig-zag-like pattern. Half of the lines are solid, elongated triangles with a line break at the top. The other lines consist of two unpainted stacked triangles with lines emanating from the sides.
The bowl is 9 cm high by 17.3 cm in diameter. It is in fair condition and shows evidence of regular use.
